Why TEDxYouth In Vegas?

Las Vegas lives in the heart of many as Sin City, a myth created by an industry selling a image.  We are so much more than that:  a city of dreamers who chose to make this neon desert our home.  This is the positive vision of our city we must share with our youth.  By hosting a TEDxYouth event in Las Vegas, we will be joining a global movement to inspire young people.  We invite you to join us for our first TEDxYouth in Las Vegas. This year’s theme is Dream Big. . . THEN DO IT! Come Dream with us!

Where & When: 

TEDxYouth@18bArtsDistrict will take place on Saturday, November 17th from 10am-5pm.  Hosted by theatre 7 in the heart of the 18b Arts District.  Tickets are available from Ticket Cake.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx[name], where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx[name] event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
